Requirements
You know your way around Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut. You can cut clean, pace well, and deliver on brief.
Clients trust us with their deadlines. We need editors who take that seriously and communicate proactively if something comes up.
Show us what you've made — even personal projects, spec work, or student films count. We want to see your eye for editing.
You'll work directly with clients and with us. Clear, friendly communication is just as important as editing skill.
No degree needed. No specific location. No minimum hours. Experience with motion graphics is a plus but not essential. We train you on our workflow and standards.
FREELANCE
All positions are freelance. You are not an employee of CutLab. You set your own hours and work on a project basis. Rates are agreed per project or per video.
Open Positions
Cut full-length YouTube videos for creators. You handle pacing, B-roll, sound, and colour. Consistent style, delivered on time.
Create scroll-stopping vertical content. You understand hooks, pacing, captions, and trending formats for Instagram and TikTok.
Create animated titles, lower thirds, transitions, and icon animations. After Effects or DaVinci Fusion experience preferred.

All work at CutLab is on a freelance basis. By applying you acknowledge that: (1) You are an independent contractor, not an employee. (2) CutLab retains the right to accept or reject any submitted work that does not meet the agreed brief. (3) Payment is made upon delivery and approval of the agreed deliverable. (4) CutLab may end the working relationship at any time if quality standards or deadlines are consistently not met. A formal freelance agreement will be signed before any paid work begins.
